SEOs vs Web designers
As what I have experienced so far in search engine optimization, I realized that very often web designers like to argue with SEOs about what they should or shouldn’t do. These web designers are of course the client’s employees and think they are acting in the best interest of their boss. Well, not really…That behavior is just making it harder for SEOs to deal with them and at the same time, do what they need to do to get a high ranking.
Web designers have to understand that SEOs are specialized in what they do, i.e. optimization and NOT web design: they are not there to steal their job! The worst part is that the client is usually the one getting hurt in all of this because often, the web designer will overwrite files that have been carefully modified by the SEO expert. And that means the site will drop in the results. Why is this happening? Because of web designers’s stubbornness and lack of communication between the 2 parties…
So, for the sake of clients who needs us out there, could we please make peace?
