Once we got our blog going, we realize how spamilicious it can get. This is what you have to do:

You will have to install the askimet spam filter plugin. This is good for any aplication with submitted content like forums, content forms.. go check it out!!!!

You will need a API key for wordpress, to get one, you go to http://wordpress.com/signup and sign for an account. (YOU DON’T NEED TO SIGN FOR A BLOG TO GET YOUR API KEY) The API key will be email to the email address provided.

Now what is left to do if you are using wordpress or not is explain there, just follow the instructions. If I can do it, you can http://akismet.com/download/
