Keyword Use in Title Tag

Up to these day, some search engines still put Title tag as part the algorithmic weight. A title tag is used as part of header element defines the title of the document. Also, the title tag text is used to describe your page when someone adds it to their “Favorites” or “Bookmarks” lists.

Title tag looks in our website’s HTML code as follow:

As mentioned in the beginning of this post, title tag defines your document and this information is used by the search engines. All major crawlers will use the text of your title tag as the text they use for the title of your page in your listings. Your web page’s title tag should contain specific keyword phrases and explain in a quick review towards search engines robot what your web page is all about as a whole. Title tag is one of the most important factors in how a search engine may decide to rank your web page.

Shown above, our SEOExpert has chosen the title tag of our blog as “Search Engine Optimization & SEO Archive” because as a whole this blog contains post & articles related to search engine optimization. Through the blog’s archive you may find previous posted posts & pages. That’s our message to the search engine. We do not want search engines to list us under keyword search phrase of “cooking recipe blog”. You have to choose the right title tag to be listed under the right search engines page result and keep it short as possible.
