How valuable are your old customers?
- Did you know that on average organizations lose 50% o f their clients every 5 yrs?
- 66% of customers leave organizations because of poor customer service
- Its five times more expensive to get a new customer than to retain an old one
- If shortcomings were decreased by 50% a company’s growth rate will more than double.
If you find the above points to be relevant then there are three things that you must do:
- Keep your focus on customers
- Nurture customer loyalty among existing customers
- Develop a business strategy that could help you re-gain lost customers and focus on it
Remember, lost clients are not lost forever. In fact, you have a bigger chance of turning lost clients into loyal customers if you surpass their expectations when trying to win them back.
“Winning customers back is among the most productive steps a business man can take” First of all you have to:
- Acknowledge it: If a client stops calling back, do not stop the dialogue. Find a better way, or a more interesting way to get his/her attention.
- Take the initiative, re-connect with them, invite them to return
- Uncover the reason after the customer leaving
- Where they pushed away intentionally or unintentionally
- Where they pulled away by a competitor
- Where they bought away by a competitor
- Or did they just simply move away?
- Re-do the work, research the clients need, wants, etc.
- Develop a communication plan and then implement it
- Follow up
- Always stay in touch

Google name was named from the word googol, which is the large number 10100, that is, the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeros (in decimal representation). Its official English number name is ten duotrigintillion on the short scale, ten thousand sexdecillion on the long scale, or ten sexdecilliard on the Peletier long scale. Larry Page, Co-Founder & President of Products of Google Inc., was fascinated with mathematics and Googol. Google’s use of the term reflects the company’s mission to organize infinite amount of retrieving relevant information from a massive set of data available on the World Wide Web.
Who is Google founder? Sergey Brin, Bachelor of Science degree with honors in mathematics and computer science from the University of Maryland at College Park, & Larry Page, honors graduate from the University of Michigan.
It’s been an incredible journey for our SEOExpert in the year 2007 with Google. Many great things happened, good & bad experience as a result of our “trials and errors” SEO tests, but we all learn from it. It’s been such incredible journey. Hope to see another journey with Google, nothing we can say today except Happy 9th birthday Google!

Pierre Karl Peladeau, president and CEO of Quebecor Inc. Said that Canada’s three largest national wireless telecommunication companies Rogers, Bell and Telus mobile users are getting the wrong $$$ numbers from their service providers, they have a “stronghold” over the industry and will do anything to limit competition and avoid lowering fees and improving service.”
“It is time to end the big three wireless companies from holding businesses and Canadians hostage by putting their profit margins ahead of competition.”
By way of example, he said Americans pay about $60.00 a month to use the new Apple iPhone but in Canada it would cost anywhere between $260.00 and $879.00 to use all the functions the newest darling has to offer.
If things don’t change (ie: unrealistic high prices), the average Canadian will start to fall way behind the rest of the world in advanced wireless communications.

Is Keyword Suggestion Tool Overture dead?
Because I have to work on many SEO projects right now and desperately in need of a new keyword tool since Overture broke up with me, I did some research and here is what I found. Thanks to SEOmoz.

KeyCompete.com is a tool designed by Tiger Technologies (www.w5.com)
“KeyCompete is an online keyword research tool that identifies the keywords your competitors are using in their pay-per-click campaigns. KeyCompete also identifies the competition that is bidding on your keywords.”
I searched for a couple of popular keyphrases and the results are interesting. In many cases, you will get an average of the amount of searches per month (like Overture) and a list of 5 competitors that are currently doing a Pay-per-click campaign. It’s a very useful tool to check what some of your competitors are doing and what keywords they are using. You can then adjust your own keyword targeting strategy depending on the results you’re getting from the KewCompete tool, your own competitive analysis and personal observations.

It seems lately that every organization, wither big or small, is becoming obsessed about anchoring its roots online. I was totally fine with this huge shift of brick and mortar toward the World Wide Web, UNTILL: Companies started making me work hard to retrieve my contest prizes.
Not long time ago pop drinks such as Cola and Pepsi, revealed their prizes under the cap, and cereal boxes packed all their gifts safely inside the box. Back then consumers did not have to go far in order to feel the joy of winning.
Now a days, these same companies are providing their customers with a pin number of some sort, that the consumer has to enter, on the website, in order to know if he/she won the prize!
Consumers Now a days, have to locate the pin number (under caps, inside wraps, imbedded in carton boxes), find an internet connection , go online to the website, through many gimmecks and garbage, browse through endless products/services, reach the desired contest web page, enter the pin and then wait for the resultes. ( A tiring and annoying process!)
Such examples are Coke, Nestle, and even old Betty!
My question here is, are these gaints making their customers work harder for their prizes, Or are they just simply generating traffic? Moreover, is it worth it, and how much profit could they be generating from it ?

Type of search engine optimization landing page:
- Reference landing page
- Transactional landing page
Reference Landing Page
Reference landing page contains informational data that is relevant to your web visitors. It has main purpose to focus on giving more detail related to something whether it is your products or services.
Transactional Landing Page
Transactional landing page more focus on persuading your web visitor to complete a transaction. Instant conversion for immediate sale of your products or services.
The desired action performed by your web visitor refers to “conversion”. The higher of conversion rate, the better it is for your business because it means the more visitors complete the desired action whether it is filling out online quotation/survey/purchase form.
Search engine optimization service can go both directions for landing page development. It is a matter of you, website and business owners, to tell your SEOExpert where you want to go. Freedom of choice for most internet marketers & your support will help a lot to achieve success of your SEO project.

Have you just found the best SEO company and realize your business is 5000 miles away from the firm you were thinking to hire?
I know… The process of finding an SEO company can be sometimes cruel.
After a lot of searching, you will probably call 2 or 3 companies before choosing the one you think will give you the better results and customer service. Unfortunately, the best firms are probably not located in your own city…
What can you do about this? Trust is an important factor. If you had a good feeling talking to the expert and if he showed you impressive listings he has, then it’s a good sign you can trust his expertise even if you haven’t met him.
What you need to know is that the only thing an SEO expert needs to work on your site is the login information of your hosting account. To have that, he doesn’t need to meet with anybody: You can give him access or your hosting company can over the phone or via email.
Of course, we like to meet our future clients in person, but if your business is located in another continent, it’s going to be tough…eh?
If you need information about our services and work methodology, we will gladly spend a half hour with you on the phone to answer your questions. Then, you can decide if you want to hire our team to do your Website optimization. We hope you will because we ARE the best !

Landing page in search engine optimization term is customization & a web page optimization for very specific keyword search phrases that are known as the most likely to be used by prospective customers in their search engines.
In landing page optimization, keyword focus is required to achieve your optimization’s goal. Every page of a site indexed by search engines is a potential landing page. But, a single page cannot be optimized for every keyword search phrases and optimizing its content relevancy. Not only you are creating a web page for search engine robot, which is clearly against search engine’s webmaster guideline, but also your web visitors. Once a search engine robot delivers your prospect into your web page, your own internet marketing takes place where it forces your visitor taking the desired action.

If you read Matt Cutt’s blog today, you will catch this post pretty fast :). Wait … Neither I’ve seen the letter nor knowing someone who have received this letter. It’s spreading around. The purpose of it is that I would like to convey the message of this letter because you never know whether it is REAL, FUN LETTER, or just a scam. Hmmm … I know for sure that it isn’t “April Mop” day :). The other message of it, whenever you receive anything via mail, make sure you know what it is. Read it properly and if you do not understand, ask your family member or friend to understand what the letter is all about. Sometimes, something is too good to be true.
I searched it on Google and read a post that shown different version of the letter.

Service Delivery:
It is true that you, a decision maker, will determine how to get customers, but it is your employees who determine how to retain them.
Be careful of the following because they may result in service delivery failure at your company:
- When employees answer a customer’s question with “ That is not my department”
- When there are no set policies and procedures.
- When different employees provide your customer with different answers
- When your company lack resources- right employees, finances, technology etc.
- When you or your employee stop listening to your customers
- When you or your employee refuse to deal with undesirable behavior
The first step to ensuring service delivery, is setting standards
- Service Guarantee standards- must be specific
- Client interaction standards- must be concise
- Telephone standards- must be measurable
- Service recovery standards- must be customer oriented
- Client retention standards- must be realistic
- Operational standards- must be enforced

Google Co-op is a platform that enables you to customize the web search experience for users of both Google and your own website.
What is it anyway?
It is a Google customized search engine where you can harness the power of Google to create a search engine tailored to your needs.
- Create your own search engine, powered by Google Search Index.
- Deliver specialized search results.
- Help users refine their searches.
I’ve done a run test for myself but of course I’m not using www.searchengineoptimizationcompany.ca domain name as the profile but it doesn’t matter what which domain name you use, it will perform the same way :). Since it is a run test to see what features behind it, I do not want to take a big risk before I am sure what it is all about. I want to avoid negative impacts on the searchengineoptimizationcompany.ca, therefore I’ve chosen different domain name to run my test. In summary, you can add a “Custom Google Search toolbox” into your website by using Google Co-Op profile data where it specifies and include website addresses based on triggered keyword search phrase within your Google Co-Op Site Profile. Working in reverse, you may exclude website address from your custom Google search :).
It will refine your searches but in my opinion it helps us not to lose track of our favorite websites especially when it loses good positioning on the main Google Indexation. Through your custom search, it will keep your listed domain names appear on the SERP. It’s your Co-Op profile and Google respects it !

Google is developing a pattern search called Google Trend where in the future you could compare the world’s interest in your top search query. It shows how frequently your keyword search have appeared in Google News stories, and in which geographic regions people have searched for them most. Google Trends is a Google Labs product, which means it’s still in its early stages of development. The data Google Trends produces may contain inaccuracies for a number of reasons, including data-sampling issues and a variety of approximations that Trends makes use of. You may experimenting with it to help Google develop this tool better and better, hopefully they will graduate the tool and we can use it for good purposes :).
