A link is a connection from one web resource to another.

Link has been one of the primary forces driving the success of the Web. On the World Wide Web, most of website operator display rich text content to their web visitor. They would like to give useful information to their visitor either it’s an article which is telling us stories or it’s about product/service descriptions. Unfortunately, you cannot display everything on one page which could cause creation of longer web page that raises web visitor frustration because not everybody would like to read the whole content of your web page. As a result, website content may be cut and placed into different section of your page. Therefore, you have to place an indicated link that redirects your web visitor towards its destination. The easier process of going through your website link, the success your website it’s going to be.

As mentioned above, link is a connection from one web resource to another therefore it is always being suggested to keep related website links within your web page. Purpose of a web page is not always displaying summary of your website contents but it can be designed to certain level of content focus which giving extra length of comfort for your reader. It’s displaying your message towards your web visitor. You have to design your webpage as useful as possible and structure page links as easy as possible also as related as possible. The higher volume of link relation within your page, the higher chances of your web visitor stays connected with your page. Variety of web link will give spice to your web visitor where you give more choices what direction they would like to go to.

A link has two ends – called anchors – and a direction.

The link starts at the source anchor and points to the destination anchor. You have to be clear at all time where you are driving the traffic to. Your website visitors have right to know where they are being redirected. Some of them may not liking or wanting to go to the direction that you are pointing to. Not only your web visitor but also anchored web page could track where their traffic is coming from. So, there is only starting point to the end point link.
